5 things you need to know about the REAL Broker Revenue Share Platform

This could change your financial bloodline going forward

What is revenue share?

Revenue share is paid when you attract other real estate agents to REAL and in turn for being the liaison between them and onboarding along with the introduction, you can participate in the revenue the generate.

Notice I said revenue not profit.

The cap at REAL is $12,000. Once they cap, there is no revenue share, because there is no revenue to share.

There are 5 levels of revenue share at REAL. The break down is as follows:

So if you attract someone and they name you as their sponsor, you will get 5% of their commission, capping at $4000.

When another agent comes to REAL and names someone you sponsored in your first line, the person you sponsored could earn $4000 and then you could earn $3200.

To unlock all 5 tiers of revenue share you’ll need the following number of active agents to advance to each level.

To unlock each tier, you must have the following amount of agents name you as a sponsor.

  • Tier 1 - Up to 4 agents

  • Tier 2 - 5+ Agent

  • Tier 3 - 15+ Agents

  • Tier 4 - 20+ Agents

  • Tier 5 - 25+ Agents

If you co-sponsor an agent to REAL with another agent already at REAL then that will count as 50% of an agent as it applies to your agent count.

How does co-sponsoring work?

Co-sponsoring in a nutshell is exactly what it sounds like. An agent coming to REAL names two sponsors (co-sponsors)

In this case, sponsoring and tiers work the same only that agent counts as a half agent in your network. In regards to revenue share, the payout works as follows:

  • You get 40% of the revenue share payment

  • The other co-sponsoring agent gets the other 40%

  • 10% goes to REAL

When is co-sponsoring a good fit? When an agent at REAL has an opportunity to partner with another agent at REAL that is NOT in your network, the new agent coming to REAL now has the ability to name both as their sponsor.

In most cases, you would not want to name 2 sponsors just because you feel obligated to. You should do it strategically.

How much is REAL revenue share in the real world?

If you took your entire network and applied a general average of $81 per agent, that number seems to hold pretty strong with our network.

What are the requirements to participate in REAL revenue share?

You need to contribute at least $450 in company split dollar every six months. This cannot be a check that you just write to REAL. This must come in the form of a commission check that is split with REAL. It can be a deal you close, a rental commission, or a referral check.

Some interesting facts about REAL revenue share:

  • You don’t need a huge network for this to start to compound itself.

  • Some of our highest attractors only have 35-50 in their first tier

  • When you work with us, we’ll help you build out your network

  • You don’t need to prospect, form free coaching companies, give stuff away for free. You just need to love where you work and have conversations about it.

5 Years of capping, attracting, and getting stock awards will change your financial profile significantly.
